WHERE DOES SPARC STAND TODAY?

The SPARC team is working hard to provide you with new content and opportunities on a regular basis.

CURRENT STATUS

Here’s what SPARC has achieved so far.

2022:

SPARC was established to provide young talent with a unique cybersecurity training programme, spark interest in challenging roles within the Swiss Armed Forces and support the civilian sector with skilled experts.

2023:

The SPARC platform went live with selected courses, and many interested participants registered and began using the platform.

2024:

• SPARC platform (Explorer & Defender levels)
• First experience days with the SPARC community

2025:

• SPARC platform
  • Explorer – 7 courses
  • Defender – 7 courses
  • Operator – 4 courses
• 8 experience days across Switzerland
  • 3 modules

OUTLOOK

Outlook for 2026

The following additions are planned for 2026:

• new experience day modules
• SKIP tests at Explorer level

Once all course content and the new experience day modules are fully launched, we will review:

• Additional exam formats
• certification options depending on the exam format
